What to include in your takedown

Shopify — like every DMCA recipient — needs the same core information to action a report. Include:

• Your full name and contact details (email, physical address if required).
• A link to your original work — your portfolio, the Instagram post, the date you published it. Proof of ownership matters.
• A short description of the work so the reviewer can match it.
• The exact URL(s) of the infringing listings or content on Shopify.
• A good-faith statement: "I have a good-faith belief that the use of this material is not authorised by me, my agent, or the law."
• A statement under penalty of perjury: "I confirm under penalty of perjury that the information above is accurate and that I am the copyright owner (or authorised to act on behalf of the owner)."
• Your electronic signature — your typed full name is fine.

How long does it take?

Hosts typically respond within 7–14 days and will often give the site owner time to respond first.

If Shopify ignores you

If Shopify doesn't act, go up the stack: report the domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap), the CDN (Cloudflare), and any payment processor the seller is using. Each layer is a pressure point.
