What to include in your takedown

AWS — like every DMCA recipient — needs the same core information to action a report. Include:

• Your full name and contact details (email, physical address if required).
• A link to your original work — your portfolio, the Instagram post, the date you published it. Proof of ownership matters.
• A short description of the work so the reviewer can match it.
• The exact URL(s) of the infringing listings or content on AWS.
• A good-faith statement: "I have a good-faith belief that the use of this material is not authorised by me, my agent, or the law."
• A statement under penalty of perjury: "I confirm under penalty of perjury that the information above is accurate and that I am the copyright owner (or authorised to act on behalf of the owner)."

How long does it take?

Infrastructure providers are slow (1–2+ weeks) because they pass complaints down the stack.

If AWS ignores you

Infrastructure providers usually forward your complaint to the actual site owner. If the site still doesn't comply, escalate to payment processors and domain registrars.
